The daughter of Hello Youmzain has twice jumped out soundly this preparation, cruising around to win her latest hitout at Murtoa in easy fashion to suggest a forward showing can be expected today. Debut winner Star Of Beirut looks to keep his perfect record intact when he heads to Seymour this afternoon. The gelded son of Zoustar was an impressive winner at Mildura four weeks ago, sweeping home from last and soft on the line to make an ideal start to his racing career. Jockey John Allen draws barrier five today and can find cover midfield or worse from the outset, looking to run on with fresh legs in the home straight.
Speed looks genuine with a host of runners able to roll forward and make this a truly-run contest. Regal Might resumes on the back of a recent jumpout win, boasting two wins from three career first-up runs. He’ll be near the front turning for home and can be in this for a long way. one of the main chances. Another who goes well fresh is Rock The Bar, who draws for he softest of trails behind the speed.
